  The Traffic Guidance System (TGS) is a system that leverages modern technologies such as electronic computing, networking, and communications to provide road users with optimal route guidance based on their origin–destination pairs, or to help them identify the most efficient route from origin to destination by obtaining real-time traffic information. The manufacturing of intelligent traffic inspection equipment is one of the subsystems of the Intelligent Transportation Management System (ITMS).

  It dynamically collects real-time basic traffic flow information, processes and analyzes the data through integrated analysis, and then disseminates the information via information networks to traffic guidance displays, traffic radio stations, in-vehicle traffic information terminals, the internet, and other channels. In this way, it provides the general public with comprehensive, real-time, dynamic traffic information services—including road condition updates, parking availability, and traffic forecasts—thereby effectively managing traffic flow, alleviating congestion, and maximizing the efficiency of the road network and related infrastructure.
