The objective of this practical new vehicle-mounted mechanical device is to provide a vehicle-mounted mechanical brake caliper that addresses the shortcomings of existing vehicle-mounted mechanical brake calipers, namely the one-sided movement and return of the brake pads, slow braking response, high braking resistance, and poor braking performance.
Product Details
1. A vehicle-mounted mechanical brake caliper, comprising left and right caliper bodies, an upper cover plate, left and right rocker arms, left and right pistons, and left and right brake shoes, characterized in that: A) one end of each of the left and right rocker arms is connected to a cable spool, with a compression spring provided on one side of the cable spool; B) steel balls are installed in the tapered bores between the left rocker arm and the left piston, as well as between the right rocker arm and the right piston; C) left and right cover plates are respectively provided on the outer sides of the left and right pistons, and return compression springs are arranged between the left piston and the left cover plate, and between the right piston and the right cover plate.
2. The automotive mechanical brake caliper according to claim 1, characterized in that: left and right adjusting screws are respectively threadedly connected to the left and right caliper bodies; the left and right adjusting screws are aligned on the same central axis as the left and right brake shoes; a left tracking shaft is provided on each of the left and right adjusting screws, and a right tracking shaft is provided on each of the left and right adjusting screws; a left torsion spring is wound around each of the left and right tracking shafts, with one end of each torsion spring connected to the corresponding left and right rocker arm.
3. The automotive mechanical brake caliper according to claim 1, characterized in that a signal switch is arranged within the right brake shoe, the signal switch being connected to one end of an alarm wire, the other end of the alarm wire extending out of the right caliper body.
4. The automotive mechanical brake caliper according to claim 1, characterized in that a pin hole is formed in the middle of the cable spool, and a notch is provided on the side of the pin hole opposite the compression spring.
5. The automotive mechanical brake caliper according to claim 1, characterized in that sealing gaskets are respectively provided between the left and right pistons and the corresponding left and right cover plates.
The objective of this utility model is to provide a vehicle-mounted mechanical brake caliper that addresses the shortcomings of existing vehicle-mounted mechanical brake calipers, namely the unilateral movement and return of the brake pads, slow braking response, high braking resistance, and poor braking performance.
The technical solution of this utility model comprises left and right housings, an upper cover plate, left and right rocker arms, left and right pistons, and left and right brake shoes. Its distinctive features are as follows: A) One end of each of the left and right rocker arms is connected to a pull-cable shaft, on one side of which is a compression spring; B) Conical recesses in both the left rocker arm–left piston assembly and the right rocker arm–right piston assembly are each fitted with a steel ball; C) Left and right cover plates are respectively provided on the outer sides of the left and right pistons, and return compression springs are arranged between the left piston and its cover plate as well as between the right piston and its cover plate.
